Camping, Overlanding, & Lifestyle blog

Tomato soup is the ultimate comfort food, so why not enjoy it while camping? In the video, I’ll walk you through how to make my tomato soup ahead of time and turn it into a great meal at the campsite.

I typically don’t use “recipes,” but below are the ingredients to make the tomato soup. I promise it’s not too hard. You really just throw everything into the pot, let it cook, and add seasoning (until it tastes good to you).

If it tastes okay, but you’ve had better, just think about your favorite tomato soup and the characteristics you remember. Do you remember a slightly smoky flavor? Add a little cumin. Or was it rich and earthy? Try a little rosemary. Was the texture thicker? Let the soup reduce a little more. Once you love it, that’s it.

Just remember, add seasoning a little at a time. You can always add, but never take away.

Enjoy!
